The Good Governance Studies Institute–Organization (GGSIO) launched the #1000Images1000Messages online campaign in observance of Environment Protection Week (June 8–15, 2019) to promote environmental awareness and civic engagement.
The campaign aimed to collect and amplify environmental messages from 1,000 individuals across Afghanistan, encouraging public participation in environmental protection efforts. Participants included students, public officials, activists, and members of civil society.
All submitted messages and visual contributions were published on the Institute’s official Facebook platform, creating a nationwide digital space for dialogue and advocacy on environmental sustainability.
Through this initiative, GGSIO sought to strengthen public awareness, encourage community responsibility, and promote environmental stewardship as a core element of good governance.
